Mercy Crew:
Mercy Crew is a 5-day young adult's mission of service for the Steubenville on the Bayou Conference. Young Adults come together for a retreat experience on the Wednesday prior to the conference weekend to pray and worship together and to share their exoeriences of faith. Thursday & Friday, the Crew begins to prepare the conference site for the arrival of 3000 teens. Mercy Crew will provide the "hands on" work throughout the weekend in various capacities to serve the needs of the youth and those of the conference staff and volunteers. The conference offers this opportunity to young adults as a way to transition from being a teen participant to serving as an adult leader in the Church. Mercy Crew is a great way to connect with other young adults who are on the same journey; hearing God's call in their lives and praying for the grace to respond. This response is one that produces abundant fruit, both in the lives of Mercy Crew team and also in the lives of those they serve.
Applicants MUST:
1. Be 19-26 years of age
2. Have completed the annual Safe Enviornment Training within your parish.
3. Have attended a previous Steubenville Youth Conference.
4. Must attend Mercy Crew activities Wednesday
through Sunday during the week of the
conference.
